Description
• The lodges of Hawaii (454, 554, and 557) met one final time as Area 12-H in 1973 (the event patch was erroneously embroidered as 12-G) at Schofield Barracks on Oahu, hosted by Lodge 557 Pupukea. • Also in 1973, Kamehameha 454, Pupukea 557, and Achsin 565 (Guam) merged to form Mokupuni O Lawelawe 567. • W3C was formed 2/18/1973 with the following lodges: Hinode Goya 498 (formerly with Area 13), Maluhia 554 and the newly formed lodge 567. • For a brief period 1980-1982, W3C changed to W6P, then switched back to W3C in 1983. • After the 1993 W3C conclave, lodge 498 (now Achpateuny) went to W1B with the Pacific NW Lodges from 1994 through 2008. This left only lodges 554 and 567 as the W3C members. • Lodge 554 merged into lodge 567 in 2019. • Section W6P was formed in 2009 consisting of lodge 567 and 803 (formerly 498 Achpateuny).
