Ordered in 2007, the dates came in as 2006. 2006 patches had already been received and issue the previous year. A set (2) of these patches was given to the NYLT staff and made available to a select few collectors.
What happened to the remainders is up for discussion. The story at the time was that the extras were to be destroyed, but in the intervening years, more than one story has arisen that they were definitely NOT destroyed. Someday, the truth may come to light.
