Change tracking was not implemented intially, so some early change records do not have details outside of the date of change.

- Same as S-3 but different sword
history:
-
- "The Plane is a Gee Bee Racing plane, the Rifle is a Springfield Rifle, the sword
and the rifle were both made at the Springfield Armory, the site for which was chosen
by George Washington. The Basketball and hoop represent the fact that Basketball
was invented in Springfield, MA, which is the largest city within the Council Area.
\r\nThe change in sword handles was not by design. The council reordered the S-3
and it just came with the different sword. Subsequent orders were always a surprize
as to which sword would be present.\r\nLater issues also came with the BSA Stuff
backing."
