Small thunderbird patch; MVE
The trading post sent sashes out to have the thunderbird embroidered onto sashes to sell to members. Instead of embroidering directly onto the sashes, the company produced these patches and very lightly affixed them to the sash - maybe with just a hot iron. Upon receiving the sashes, the patches were falling off and all were removed. No sashes were sold with the patch. Having the patches in hand and fundraising for the roof on Sullivan, EC approval was obtained in arrears for the patches and then they were sold at the 2025 Fall Fellowship for $40 each as a roof fundraiser. Of the 58, 53 were sold, one went to the museum, and 4 held for silent auction at a later date.
