These patches were part of a larger set issued by Baltimore Area Council to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation. The "Fire Danger" issues from Nentico Lodge were earned awards, with three levels of requirements for the "Low", "Medium", and "High" patches. All award patches were issued with button loops. In addition, a collectors' version of the set was sold; this set included the "Low" patch without a button loop.
