Originally there were going to be fifty S-82 sponsor flaps but the quantity was increased when there were 70 preorders. Unfortunately, the word didn't get to the patch company to also increase the quantity of dangles, so only 50 of the R-6 dangles were produced. The first 50 lodge members that preordered received the dangles, latecomers missed out.
