Jeff Morley As an active OA collector, I traded for multiple Tutelo 161 S1's and S2's during the summer of 1972 serving my last year on staff at Philmont. Members of the headquarters group had rosters of incoming council contingents and routinely met the buses as they arrived into headquarters to trade with contingent members as they de-boarded. The day the Virginia contingent came in, the patch traders were expecting to trade for some Koo Koo Ku Hoo and Powhatan flaps and were disappointed to learn the lodges had merged. The Scouts from the new council had not one, but two flaps from the new lodge. Two different flaps issued simultaneously was a novel thing in those days and I remember asking the members who had Tutelo flaps to trade why there were two different flaps? They said one was a restricted issue for the members and one was a trading flap, something I had never heard of before but has since become common. There is no question in my mind that the Tutelo S1 and S2 were available in the summer of 1972. about 3 years ago
