In the late 70's, rather than purchasing embroidered patches for the event, Fellowship participants were supplied 3" blank leather discs. In the course of the weekend, with supplied tools, all participants crafted their own Fellowship participant "patch", therefore, there were a lot of similarities as well as variations.
