| History | (none) | Issued in the early 1970’s, the X1 was originally intended to be sewn onto neckerchiefs and then sold. However, the Lodge eventually ran out of neckerchiefs before all patches could be sewn on them. When they went to reorder, someone in the Lodge took the remainder of the patches and sold them without Lodge consent, and the Lodge never received any of the money. For this reason, there are both sewn and unsewn versions of this patch. |
