History

In 1972, Uwharrie lodge issued three neckerchiefs without patch sewn on: a green body with yellow piping for Ordeal (N4), a blue body with red piping for Brotherhood (N5), and a blue body with red piping with three red arrows arranged to form a triangle (to surround patch) for Vigil (N6). The X3 was made to be sewn on the neckerchief. The lodge ran out of X3's; the reorder came in smaller and with a plastic back (X4). Most of the N4/N5/N6's have X3's.
