Wulakamike Lodge was formed on October 20, 1972 with the merging of four Boy Scout Councils: Central Indiana (now Crossroads of America), Delaware County, Kikthawenund Area, and Whitewater Valley. Each of these Councils had their own Lodge with the exception of the Central Indiana Council which utilized the Firecrafter program instead of Order of the Arrow. Kikthawenund 222, Wahpinachi 308, and Wah-Pe-Kah-Me-Kunk 512 were merged into Wulakamike 21, serving the newly formed Central Indiana Council. Camps that served Crossroads of America Council include: Camp Bear Creek, Camp Belzer, Camp Kikthawenund, Camp Krietenstein, Camp Red Wing, Camp Wildwood, Camp Bradford, Boy Scout Point and Ransburg Scout Reservation.
