I'm sure that they give their blessing. This flap was documented in the March 1999 ASTAR: "What is interesting about this flap is that it was made prior to the lodge issuing a first flap for itself (perhaps that is why it had a right shirt pocket flap) available to wear the flap one). While it can not be considered a first flap in the traditional sense, it undoubtedly was the first flap shaped badge that members wore on their shirt's pocket flaps and was the first flap shaped badge with the number '276' on it."
