| History | (none) | New standard flaps needed to be ordered, but there was not enough time for the LEC to vote deciding on changes to the design. Apparently some LEC members wanted to clean up the night sky and make the arrow look slightly different. It was decided to reorder the standard flaps as well as 3 other flaps. This one is the Gold Card flap. Since it was only intended to be used until the sky can be cleaned up in a future issue a fewer than normal number of gold card flaps were ordered. 75 were ordered and 77 received from the manufacturer. Since there were 2 extra of each flap they were sold in a lodge fundraiser auction at the 2025 Nayawin Rar Trade-O-Ree in November. Cost for a gold card membership was $125 and each member received 1 flap. The design for the new standard flap is based on the origin story behind the lodge totem. The flap depicts a nighthawk over the OA Lake at Camp Tuscarora. |
