History

The S44a was the first loom run of the new standard, and was issued in the fall of 2009.
The lodge realized that it had somehow ended up with a BLK line above the RED one. Calling it a mistake the lodge sold them at a limit of three per person for five dollars each. I believe that the patch sold out at the event and am not sure if they were issued to that fellowships ordeal class. Wesley Drennan the designer said that there was a small line GRY line in the original design to show color separation, and the company included the line when creating the patch. The S44a was reordered without the line and then became the S44b first issued in the spring of 2010.
