Cuauhtli Lodge operated in Mexico City to service USA
citizens living in the area. The camp operated only a couple
of weeks each summer. In the 1950s, the association with San
Antonio and the U.S. armed services assigned a Camp
Master to Mexico City to help operate the Scouting program
resulting in a strong tie between the two councils and lodges
until national disbanded the overseas council and moved its
Scounting operations in Mexico to its Direct Service program.
