History (none) The first thunderbird flap was designed by Chuck Marr, based on the neckerchief patch design. A rush order was placed and arrived just in time for the Ordeal, but the manufacturer botched the design. Disappointed lodge members nicknamed the flap "The Fish" because everybody agreed "it stinks." The reordered flap became the S5 issue.
