There have been Baluga flaps with various number of lines across the field. 7 & 8 lines seem to be the majority of the flaps with 6 & 9 lines serving as outliers. Dwayne Fowlks has done extensive digging to identify former members and reports that all the Baluga flaps he found with 8 lines were from members in the 1962-1963 time period and the members who had the 7 line flap were members in 1964. Several sources have said that the Lodge made two orders of the flaps and there was no Lodge flap for the first couple years the Lodge existed. I am classifying the 8 line flap as the S1a, the 7 line flap as the S1b, and the 9 & 6 line flaps as S1c and S1d although I still consider them outliers. THIS IS THE 8 LINE FLAP.
