This year's awareness flap benefits the organization Colorectal Cancer Alliance. Proceeds from the sale of this flap will be donated at the lodge's annual winter banquet in January 2022. The flap design is in honor of the actor Chadwick Boseman, who played the character "Black Panther" in the Marvel's Avengers Universe. Mr. Boseman died of colon cancer in 2020 at the age of 43.
The blue threads on the panther are done in blue Mylar thread, and the background is part of the Milwaukee skyline. The blue ribbon is indicative of colorectal cancer, and March is Colon Cancer Awareness month.
Only 250 total were produced for sale.
