Evan Davis From the Lodge 70 History: On April 11 – 13, 2003, the lodge took over 200 delegates to the SR-7B Section Conclave hosted by Nayawin Rar Lodge 296 at the Tuscarora Scout Reservation. The lodge chose a spirit theme of “That 70s Lodge”. The weather was pleasant and the fellowship was warm. Everyone enjoyed a fun weekend which included training, competition in Ceremonies, Indian Dance, a Quest, and great shows. The lodge placed First in Newsletter and Where-To-Go-Camping, and won the highest Section award – Honor Lodge! Teams placed third in Team Dance and in Ceremonies. Many lodge members assisted with two large exhibits, one on Native Americans and the other on Scoutcraft skills. Following a memorable Saturday night show, everyone enjoyed a great fireworks display. over 1 year ago
