SR-6S was initially comprised in 1998 of five Georgia lodges and one Tennessee lodge and then was joined by one additional Georgia lodge and one Alabama lodge in 2002.

SR-6S was formed in 1998 from the 1997 SR Realignment. It expanded in 2002 from the 2001 SR Realignment. It was disbanded at the end of 2008.
