The first jacket patch was presented to Section Chief Sven Gilkey for his service to Section W-1B and the second jacket patch was presented to Del Loder for 50 years of inspiration. Del Loder's jacket patch is mounted on a wooden plaque and inscribed "SECTION W-1B April 25, 2004", "THANKS", "Del Loder", and "For 50 Years of Inspiration". Del's plaque is in the Section Museum.
