History (none) Evidence has surfaced to suggest the following: 1) Original design of 7 colors approved by OA Exec Board in 1967. 2) In 1968, the Lodge decided against ordering due to cost considerations. 3) Designer had the patch and neckerchief material made in local shops in Thailand while he was on military duty. Several changes were made from the original approved design, including the increase of colors to 9. 4) Designed subsequently handed out these patch on N/C to members of the lodge dance team.
