Description
After the 1982 SE-1 Conclave hosted by Nentego Lodge 20 the Section was split, with the seven Virginia lodges (Nawakwa 3, Tutelo 161, Shenandoah 258, Shenshawpotoo 276, Blue Heron 349, Kecoughtan 463, and Chanco 483) forming the new Section SE-8. The D.C., Delaware, and Maryland lodges (Nentico 12, Nentego 20, Guneukitschik 317, Amangamek-Wipit 470, and Ahtuhquog 540) were placed into the new Section SE-9 which was quickly transferred to the Northeast Region and with Black Eagle Lodge 482 became NE-6.
