Yellow jacket patch, "SECTION 9 EASTERN REGION" in center, slab serif Ws at bottom. Lodge totems wrapping around, similar to older SE-8 and SE-1 patches. Includes 317 for first time in E9. Same as J1, except GMY border, sold at 2024 Conclave for $50, 2 per person.
This patch is an homage to a previous SE-1 jacket patch and was created to celebrate the return of Guneukitschik #317 to the Virginia-based Section E9 when Shenshawpotoo #276 and Guneukitschik #317 merged to form Onerahtokha #297. Guneukitschik #317 was a charter member of Section SE-1 and remained until the realignment of 1982. As a special version of this patch with gold mylar was issued with a quantity of 82 produced as a nod to the last year Guneukitschik #317 was with the Virginia lodges (1982).
